At Alan Heath and Sons, we’ve been proud recommended suppliers of Vitra’s bathroom range for many years. They’re constantly a very popular bathroom product in our showroom.

They’ve recently released three new brochures to separate the three main styles of bathroom design, and we wanted to share some of the updated information with you.

The three ranges are:

• Designer Collection.
• Signature Collection.
• Bathroom Collection.

The aim of these brochures (and others like them from other suppliers) is to give you some inspiration and ideas for your new bathroom. With images and ideas that leap from the page, you can flick through them to give you an idea where to start.

Although we often have customers who simply want it to look exactly like the brochure, many choose to take the brochures away and use them to springboard their ideas and help them to have a place to start from.

Let’s take a look at the three new brochures from Vitra…

Vitra Designer Collection

This range from Vitra is designed to combine beauty with practicality whilst still offering the very best in comfort, storage, and ease of maintenance. Vitra wanted to change the perception that the bathroom is a purely functional space and instead turn the focus onto something more relaxing and life-enriching. We agree!

Some key products here include:

• V-Care – a WC and bidet combined and designed by multi award-winning German design studio, NOA. This is a big leap towards saving paper waste and following a trend of washing instead of wiping.
• Aquacare – combining the WC and bidet once again, this design comes straight from the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean worlds with a classic, but effective design.
• Equal range – looking for incredible design? The Equal range, designed by Claudio Bellini, infuses the washroom with tranquillity through pure shapes and seamless joints. The bathrooms seem to float with this incredible, simple, but stunning design.

Vitra Signature Collection

Vitra’s innovation centre is well-known in the bathroom industry for producing innovative and stunning design. This range is no exception.

Some key products here include:

• Smart Panel – an elegant, flush glass plate that replaces the buttons and levers and brings digital into the bathroom. It’s compatible with Vitra concealed cisterns and is stunning as well as easy to use.
• Valarte range – old meets new with this contemporary design with simple lines and fine craftsmanship.
• Ecora Infinit – say hello to luxurious mineral cast washbasins with a sleek and elegant style. Smooth and defined lines look fabulous in a modern bathroom.

Vitra Bathroom Collection.

Inspired by the tradition and principles of Turkish bathroom culture, Vitra’s innovative bathroom products combine modern technology with world-class design to meet the style, standards, and demands of the 21st century.

Some key products here include:

• S50 range – contemporary square lines or organic, rounded forms.
• Zentrum Range – geometric styling and clean lines with the added advantage of a deep basin, to minimise water splashes.
• Serenada range – eye-catching angles and edges, blends traditional country style with a contemporary twist.

There are some great products in the 2019/20 range, including innovations like the Rim-Ex which removes the rim on the WC that has always harboured germs. There are also products like V-Box, a new generation of shower products that are concealed in the bath and shower mixers and enable up to three water outlets.
